The Life and Times of Hiram the Hippy

Hiram learned early on the comradeship of playing music with other people and he hoped to pursue a semi-pro career playing popular music in local venues. Unfortunately for Hiram popular music became progressively harder for a small combo to replicate and early redundancy stared him in the face when people started offering their services with a record player deck, and discos took over weddings, parties, events… More compact, less people involved, less interpersonal hassles, smaller presence on stage, vast repertoire… how could Hiram compete?

Well… he played in various bands since the early 60’s and enjoyed every moment, but never with his own selection of the repertoire! Smiling People – A Night at the Disco is the first set while Snippets is thoughts for the second.
